Life update y'all

At this point I have only like one or two active watchers, and I myself am barely active on here. If anyone would like to keep in touch with me my Art instagram is @Jaymarieart my personal is @jspo97 and my dog instagram is @mythreemutts
I thought I'd make an update journal anyways though because sometimes I like to look at my old entries and see how my life has changed.
So without further ado...
Two weeks ago I finished my nannying job. I nannied for two little boys for just over a year. It was a very hard goodbye. The next day I moved back to my hometown after being away for ten years. I am living in a basement suite with my cat, two dogs and hamster. My sister is renting the upper suite with her animals. I love my suite, it's little but it's very nice.
Tomorrow I officially go back to school after taking three years off. I am taking multimedia production. I'll be studying audio, video, graphic design, animation and web design. I'm very excited, I'm hoping to use this program to pursue a career in animation.

I went through a phase (I still do this who am I kidding) of making OC's for like one day. So IDK who my first was. The first OC that I made and drew for years was Lauren.
I drew her from 2011-2014 obsessively. And I still love her, I'm just not in the fandom anymore.

The lovely KippyTheGreat tagged me/Alexa, so here we go yey

1. Alexa is a character from a never ending novel that I've lazily been working on since 2014
2. Alexa looks like her mother, but she has her dad's eyes.
3. She is sixteen years old.
4. Her hair is very thick and she hates it touching her neck, which is why it's always pulled up somehow. She also cut her own bangs, poorly, which is why they are always pinned back.
5. She is very self-conscious about her looks, her freckles, her height (she's tall), etc
6. She cannot swim
7. She's one of two characters that I've made that I didn't abandon after like a month
8. She's gone undergone a lot of changes design-wise. Originally in early 2014 I drew her with a chubby round face, thin nose and freckles only on her cheeks.
